AGAVE GRANOLA BARS

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup mixed nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans), chopped
  • ½ cup dried fruits (e.g., raisins, cranberries, apricots), chopped
  • ⅓ cup agave syrup
  • ¼ cup nut butter (optional, for added texture and flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, chopped nuts, and dried fruits.
  3. In a small saucepan, warm agave syrup (and nut butter if using) over low heat until fluid.
  4. Pour agave mixture over oats mixture and stir until well coated.
  5. Transfer to the baking dish, pressing down evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
